Generous Donation Gives New Area For Sabbath School
Due to the generous donation of tables, chairs and bookcases to name a few, we were able to establish a new area for one of our Sabbath School classes.
Using the boardroom was not always a suitable choice but now we have this lovely new area to study the word of God.
Many thanks go out to Elder Franklin and his workplace for the generous donation and also thanks to those who helped him collect and deliver the items to the church.
Praise the Lord for His goodness!
Expert Teaching In Discipleship For Jesus
Johnny Wong is an Elder of the Gateway Adventist Centre (GAC), in Melbourne. He has been involved in five urban church plants and conducted training in over 25 countries in evangelism. GAC has been blessed with over 230 baptisms with a high retention rate (81%) through intentional discipleship.
He had served on the conference executive committee and other company board of directors. His passion is to see young people mobilized as an army of youth presenting the everlasting gospel. He is an adjunct lecturer at Weimar University and an author of a book entitled "Business Unusual". His academic training is in Information Technology, and he has served in management and corporate positions at Oracle Corporation, Hewlett-Packard, Ansett Australia Group and Penguin Books.
EACSDA was privileged to hear Pastor Johnny Wong on the 13th and the 16th of February 2025. It was a blessing, and we have now started to implement his principles. Thank you, Pastor Johnny.
Jesus Joins Another Couple For Love & Life
Sunday March the 9th was a special day for our brother Nathan Lausberg and our new sister Emmelyne Virassamy.
Nathan and Emme were joined together in Holy matrimony which was officiated by two Pastors. Pastor Hillary Baatjies from Henderson SDA and our own Pastor Tehui Leverd from East Auckland City SDA.
The bride looked beautiful and the groom
was very handsome on the day. Many of the
church family came to witness the happy
event and it was a lovely ceremony.
We all wish Nathan and Emme a long and
beautiful marriage, with Jesus at the helm.
Hayden Wiseman Praises God With His Music At East Auckland SDA
Based in Australia and a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, Hayden Wiseman is a passionate violinist, focusing on classical and gospel music performance. Inspired by Jamie Jorge and Andre Rieu, Hayden aims to connect with his audience and share his love for music and God.
Hayden says that as a Christian he thanks God every day for allowing him to follow this journey and give joy to others around the world.
The concert, held on the 25th of March 2025. It was a brilliant concert and was thoroughly enjoyed by those who attended.
