"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11).
Generous Donation Gives New Area For Sabbath School
Due to the generous donation of tables, chairs and bookcases to name a few, we were able to establish a new area for one of our Sabbath School classes.
Using the boardroom was not always a suitable choice but now we have this lovely new area to study the word of God.
Many thanks go out to Elder Franklin and his workplace for the generous donation and also thanks to those who helped him collect and deliver the items to the church.
Praise the Lord for His goodness!

Sister Lois Chirume - Bound For Darwin
On April 19th the church said a sad farewell to our beautiful Sister Lois.
Sister Lois has been a part of our church for over 3 years. She gave her all for our Sabbath School and helped many times with hospitality. Her beautiful voice will surely be missed during our services.
We are sad to see our lovely sister go but we wish her God's speed and much success in her new job, as well as success in whatever her new ministry will be in Darwin. God bless you always our dearest Sister Lois, we love you.

Two More Souls For The Kingdom Of God

On Sabbath the 10th of May 2025, we were blessed to witness Pastor Tehui Leverd baptise two more souls into the Kingdom for God.
Frank Bates and Yannick Virassamy stepped into the water and gave their hearts and lives to Jesus.
East Auckland City SDA family were privileged to be able to be with them on this special day. It was a true blessing to see the smiles on their faces.

Pastor Jean-Noel Adeline Returns To East Auckland
On Tuesday the 27th of May, our beloved Pastor Jean-Noel Adeline arrived back in New Zealand from Weimar University, via Fiji, where he was part of a team of Evangelists.
This long-awaited Revival Series went full steam ahead on Tuesday evening with the 1st session, "Our Need To Accept", at a small Avondale church. Praise the Lord. A blessed time was had by all.
Wednesday kicked off morning devotions with Pastor JN at 6am. We had 5 amazing morning devotions, from Wednesday through to Sunday, with inspiring messages from Jesus, delivered by Pastor JN. What a blessing!!
Then Wednesday night prayer meeting was the 2nd session "Our Need To Be Set Apart" I cannot tell you how strong the Holy Spirit was felt in church for this meeting. Praise the Lord!
Thursday night's programme "Our Need For Total Surrender" was held at Pastor Tehui's home.

Not only did we have an inspirational message, Sister Vaea and others lifted up their voices to praise the Lord in song as the Pastors played their guitars. Relay singing is so much fun.

Friday night we welcomed in the Sabbath at church with another session "Our Need Of Humility". Pastor Jean-Noel was overwhelmed to be back in his "old" church. Of course, our church has had a facelift since he was here last. It touched his heart. Not only to see the changes in the church but also to see all the members he had not seen for the past 2 years.
Elder Fitu welcomed everyone and then we heard a beautiful testimony from Brother Sam Vaitohi. After Brother Sam finished his testimony, he introduced his wife, Sister Vivianne and their 5 boys. We were blessed greatly with a special item song "Why Me Lord", which was led out by Brother Sam's deep voice which complimented his wife and children well. .
Sabbath Divine "The Need Of The Hour" saw many new and old faces to our sanctuary. The EACSDA Church Choir sang "In Need" lead out by our choir conductor Sister Vaea. It was beautiful.
This song summed up a perfect end to the messages Pastor Jean-Noel preached this past week. We are all in Need of Jesus.
This Revival rounded out beautifully the end of our Bi-Monthly Newsletter period.
